Prepare for some frights on Sauvie Island at the Pumpkin Patch this Halloween season. Throughout the month, you can navigate the eerie corridors of the corn maze. Step inside the tall stalks, surrendering to the darkness all around you. As you wind your way around, you'll always be wondering what could pop out next.
To complete the course, you'll make your way through four acres (two miles) that'll inspire shrieks and screams. As you hear the wind rustle through the corn, you'll turn a corner and come across a harrowing creature. Before long, your heart will be racing and adrenaline pumping. It's no wonder this haunted maze has become one of Portland's premier haunted attractions. If you’re visiting from out of town this fall, you can participate in a popular attraction the locals love.
While this is a family-friendly event, the maze is not recommended for children under the age of 6. However, this is the perfect place to bring the older kids and teens. To celebrate Halloween in high style, you can buy your tickets online at http://www.portlandmaze.com/haunted_maze.php.
The price of admission for your thrills and chills is $12 per person. The frightful fun starts at 7 p.m. and goes until you're immersed in pitch-blackness at 10 p.m. Join the 30,000 or so brave adventurers who enter the labyrinth each year. With our hotel's prime location in Gresham near downtown Portland, you'll have easy access to this Halloween attraction along with dining, shopping, and entertainment.
