Eat, drink, and be merry this holiday season as the 17th annual Portland Holiday Ale Festival takes place November 28th through December 2nd at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Over 50 beers will be featured, with several being released just for the festival. These include Cranberry de Table, HOLLA-Day Ale, and Old Saint Chongo. There will also be at least 16 limited release tappings at the event. It all stars Wednesday November 28th at 2:00 p.m. Festival attendees can stay warm and dry under the big clear-top tent, or gather around one of the many portable gas heaters. Enjoy the lights of downtown, as well as Portland’s 75 foot Christmas tree as you sample the many beers and ales. To help promote safety, designated drivers receive discounted admission, and will be able to enjoy free sodas and bottled water during the entire event.
The event wraps up Sunday December 2nd with the Sunday Beer Brunch at the Upstairs Sky Bar. The brunch will feature at least four Belgian-style beers, all of which will be making their debut in the festival brew lineup. Guests will dnjoy over 40 European-style dishes, including grilled croissant sandwiches, fruit, cheese, pastries, and more.
